High-Performance, High Density, Advanced Switching Capabilities for Meeting 10-Gigabit Ethernet Networking Requirements scaling from Small Business to the Enterprise

SSE-X3348T and its companion SSE-X3348TR Layer 3 Ethernet Switch both offer forty-eight 10-Gigabit Ethernet ports using the popular new 10GBase-T connection option allowing even more flexibility in providing data center friendly connectivity to 10GE routers, servers, backbones. They also offer four ports running at 40Gbps for access to high-speed backbone networks or storage servers. The 1U form factor gives users the ability to optimize deployment in standalone or top-of-rack environments. An optional rail kit facilitates rack-mounting installations. And the SSE-X3348TR model provides a data-center-friendly reverse air-flow for improved cooling when installed in the rear of a rack.
