The MegaRAID® SAS 9280-16i4e 6Gb/s SATA and SAS RAID controller card has both
internal and external SAS and SATA ports for high-density and high-capacity
environments. Optional software allows additional performance and data
protection features.
- Connect up to 240 SATA or SAS drives with 16 internal and 4 external
6Gb/s SAS and SATA ports
- Deliver storage density to servers with half-length full-height form
factor
- Bandwidth to support critical applications with PCIe® 2.0 connectivity
- Balance protection and performance for critical applications with RAID
levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60
- Add performance and peace of mind with advanced software options
including CacheCade® front-end Solid State Drive (SSD) caching and SafeStore™
encryption services
